Superman's girlfriend committed suicide

The world found out about Kidder’s death after 13’s girlfriend found the body of an actress at her home in Montana in May. At the time, her manager, Camilla Fluxman Pines, said that Kidder "died peacefully in a dream." She was 69 years old.

Maggie McGuan, daughter of Kidder from ex-husband Thomas McGuan, told the Associated Press that she immediately realized that her mother had committed suicide when she came to her house in a small town near Yellowstone National Park.

The actress has struggled with bipolar disorder for most of her life.

In 1996, she had a widely known manic episode, as a result of which she lived for several days on the street. According to the police, at that moment, Kidder was “scared and paranoid” and hid in the bushes outside his house in Glendale, California. She was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital.

After this, Kidder began to practice her mental health. In the 2007 year, she said that for 11 years she had not had a single manic episode, and she supported her health with alternative medicine by consuming dietary supplements.

Despite her struggle for health, Kidder continued to work. In 2015, she won the Daytime Emmy Award as an outstanding performer on the Ghost Hour series for children.

She spent the last decades of her life in Montana and engaged in political activity as a liberal Democrat, including protesting against US military action in Iraq.

Joan Kesic, a longtime friend who found Kidder's body, said that the actress was fearless and always told the truth, regardless of the consequences.
