Teenagers decided to drive a car in Michigan: it all ended in a tragedy with three deaths

An 8-year-old girl and two teenagers died when an SUV overturned and crashed into a tree in a residential area of ​​Lincoln Park in Detroit, Michigan. The accident happened on November 17 in the evening. Writes about it Fox2Detroit.

Witnesses said the speeding SUV hit a tree and a fence and then rolled over several times. According to initial reports, four people were trapped and one was thrown from the car.

“He hit the curb right outside the driveway. And when he crashed, the car flew into the air and completely lost control, ”said Jennifer Kruger.

She witnessed the accident because it happened near her house. Rescuers had to pull four people out of the car.

“They were all unconscious,” Kruger observed. “I don’t want anyone to see what happened in front of my eyes.”

One of the teenagers was live on Instagram, so the moment just before the accident was broadcast live.

Two teenagers were hurt. The 14-year-old girl has already been discharged from the hospital, and the 13-year-old is in critical condition.

Local residents said that a 14-year-old girl was driving, writes The News Herald.

In the back seat were an 8-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old boy. They all died in a plane crash.

Family members said the 8-year-old victim, Derrion Duncan, was the sister of Jameyer Howard, a 14-year-old girl.

“I have grandchildren of the same age as these girls. I kept thinking that it could be my grandchildren,” said Kruger.

Neighbors said they saw cars in the area speeding down the street at about 70 miles (112 km) per hour.

“I just heard a loud bang,” said one witness. — Tire screeching and loud bang. I left the house and saw that the car had rolled over on its side.”

The witness admitted that the wrecked car did not surprise him, as it was rushing at high speed. It is not yet clear whether drugs or alcohol were linked to the accident.
