Kartina TV subscribers in the United States were left without Channel One programs and its partners.

The Russian First Channel has suspended its cooperation with the international teleservice Kartina TV, depriving the company of the right to broadcast the channel's programs, as well as its network partners, in various countries of the world, including the USA.

“At the moment, the previously valid license agreement between JSC Channel One. World Wide Web" and the "Kartina TV" service is terminated," reads the site of the First Channel.

The termination of the contract took place on December 28 of 2018, from that moment on, Kartina TV lost the right to broadcast the First Channel and Carousel TV versions, as well as Digital Telefamily TV channels: “Dom Kino”, “Telekafe”, “Music One”, “Beaver”, “ Time: far and close ”and“ Oh! ”.

The reasons for termination of the contract are not specified.
