Why did a Russian with an expired visa die in a Florida hospital
A Russian arrested in 2017 for illegally staying in the United States, died in a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, reports Interfax with reference to the US Immigration and Customs Police (ICE).
According to a press release, 56-year-old Herman Volkov died at the Jacksonville Medical Center at the University of Florida 30 in November. It is specified that the death occurred two days after the Russian had left the hospital in Jacksonville, refusing treatment.
The cause of death is called cardiac arrest. The doctors did not manage to reanimate him, according to the US Immigration and Customs Police.
According to a press release, Volkov was detained in June 2017 for illegal stay in the United States, his visa was expired.
A federal immigration judge in December 2017 of the year ordered him to leave the country.
