The pilots did everything right: experts deciphered the black boxes of a Ukrainian plane shot down in Iran
The transcript of the flight recorders of the Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) aircraft shot down in Iran in January 2020 confirmed that the airliner was serviceable and crashed due to a missile hit. Writes about it "New Time".
“Both boxes were successfully decrypted, although they showed signs of serious external damage. It is very important: the decryption confirmed that the plane was in good working order, the pilots did everything correctly.
At the same time, the black boxes confirmed that the plane fell as a result of an act of unlawful external interference, namely, it was shot down by a missile, ”the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry explained.
The department clarified that de jure the deciphering was carried out by the Iranian air crash investigation authorities, but de facto it was carried out in a French laboratory with the participation of “the world’s best experts” from the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine and Canada. The Foreign Ministry recalled that deciphering the so-called black boxes is only one of the stages for conducting a technical investigation.
France has completed the decryption of data from two flight recorders of UIA flight PS752. Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeniy Yenin said that an Iranian delegation is going to visit Ukraine next week.
