Ukrainian sapper dog: how a small dog became a big rescuer

Together with the Ukrainian military, our little brothers also work without normal rest and peace. Among the most popular of the fluffy squad was a dog named Patron. The publication told more about the four-legged hero Meduza.

Patron is a member of the pyrotechnics detachment of the Chernihiv region. He helps to look for explosives in the territories liberated from Russian troops.

The fighting went on near Chernihiv from the beginning of the war, and only in the first half of April, Russian troops left the region. And although the airstrikes are still going on, pyrotechnicians clear the area to the maximum.

At the same time, the dog is not just a talisman and moral support - he is a real full-fledged member of the team. The cartridge has already helped detect more than 90 explosives.

He is only two and a half years old. He is a small dog who loves cheese very much. Not a single outing is complete without a favorite treat. Fellow rescuers often treat him to a piece of cheese.

But now Patron is also a social media star. He has over 60 followers on his Instagram account. The dog has already managed to appear on television and meet with the famous Ukrainian presenter Dmitry Komarov.

Patron has inspired thousands of Ukrainians, fan art never ceases to amaze with its diversity.
