During the fire of Campfire, who killed at least 85 people and made thousands of people in Northern California leave their homes, Madison waited patiently.

The owner of the Anatolian Shepherd, Andrea Gaylord, was unable to get to her home in Paradise when the fire began to spread on November 8, so the dog remained in dangerous territory. Over the next few weeks, all Gaylord could do was pray for the safety of her pet. The Washington Post.

Sheila Sullivan, a volunteer for the rescue organization K9 Paw Print Rescue, was able, at the request of the hostess, to place Madison's brother Miguel in a shelter in another city, but Madison would not let himself be caught. Sullivan noticed the dog several times near the house, regularly leaving him fresh food and water. She even put Gaylord's clothes next to the house in the hope that the smell of the hostess would keep the dog hope until people return.

When the evacuation order was canceled last week, Gaylord returned to her house destroyed by fire and saw that Madison was there, protecting the little that was left of his family’s house.

Sullivan told about fidelity of a dog in a post on the page of a charitable organization in a social network. Facebookwhich quickly gained viral popularity.

Gaylord was happy to reunite with her dogs and never tired of being amazed at Madison's loyalty.

Recall that the Campfire fire in Northern California raged for 17 days and destroyed 14 000 homes, the city of Paradise burned down almost completely.

Gaylord has lost everything in the fire and is now homeless, but according to the woman, she is comforted by the loyalty of her dogs.
