Israel announces first coronavirus death

On Thursday evening, March 19, Benjamin Netanyahu announced another tightening of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus infection in Israel.

The ban on leaving the house without valid excuse will be valid for seven days and may be extended. Restrictions on the work of businesses will be valid until April 20.

According to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the country, which have become mandatory, citizens can leave their homes only for the purpose of buying food or medicine.

Visiting public places, including parks and beaches, is not permitted. The ban also affected the number of guests that can be received by citizens of the country - gathering in groups of more than 10 people is not allowed.
