Skull and rib fracture: an immigrant accused of killing a baby, deported 5 times
According to the US Immigration and Customs Administration (ICE), a man accused of killing an infant has been deported five times.
Accused Carlos Zuniga-Aviles is considered the main suspect in the four-month-old boy’s murder case. Investigators believe that he inflicted fatal wounds on a child after he learned that he was not his father.
The crime scene was a residential complex on Court Avenue, from where the baby's mother called 911. She noticed that the little son is not responding to her.
A medical examiner determined that death was caused by a blunt injury. The child had a fracture of the skull and ribs.
Both the mother and her boyfriend, Zuniga-Aviles, claimed that they did not know how the child suffered.
