Negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program will not be extended
A European diplomat, aware of the progress of negotiations between the “six” international mediators (USA, Russia, China, UK, France, Germany) and Iran on the Iranian nuclear program, said on Friday, July 3, that the parties do not intend to extend the deadline allocated for achieving agreements. Let us remind you that it initially expired on June 30, but at the last moment it was extended until July 7.
“We are coming to the end whether we can reach an agreement or not,” he said, adding that “the process is fraught with difficulties.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that "great steps have been taken towards the agreement, but various technical issues still hinder it, and the political will of the other side is needed to overcome them."
