Passenger plane, flying from Los Angeles, died under mysterious circumstances
Aleisha Tracy's friends are at a loss as to how a young woman died during a flight to Qantas to Melbourne after a vacation.
The friends of the woman who died Qantas in flight home to Melbourne, they say that she was "happy and healthy" and do not know what could happen during the flight.
33-year-old woman Alesha Tracy died when returning home to QF94 from Los Angeles after a vacation in the United States.
After the 16-hour flight, the plane was met by paramedics.
The police are awaiting the results of the autopsy, which was to take place today, in order to establish the exact cause of her death.
On the Instagram page, Tracy left photos from Las Vegas for the last week, as well as a photo of her boarding pass when she was waiting for her flight to the United States at the Qantas International Business Lounge 24 in March.
Friends paid tribute to Tracy, an employee of the National Broadband Network operations center in Melbourne's suburb, Sunshine West.
“Aleisha Tracy, I am devastated. I'll miss you. I will miss your funny stories,” friend David Lautherton wrote.
A NBN spokesperson said that Tracy was a “favorite” member of the NBN team.
“We are very sad to hear of the passing of Aleisha, who was a valued and much-loved member of the NBN team,” the spokesperson said. “The thoughts of everyone at NBN are with her family, friends and work colleagues at this difficult time.”
