American Airlines scandal: passenger arrested for complaint against crew
American Airlines passenger Andy Eisenmann said that before taking off he noticed two American Airlines crew members without masks at the gate. He brought up the issue on board with one of the crew. As a result, Eisenmann was met by the police when landing and sent for interrogation. The edition told in more detail Simple flying.
Crew without masks
Eisenmann was at Dallas-Fort Worth airport, waiting to board an American Airlines flight to Palm Springs, when he noticed two crew members who were not wearing masks. With current measures, masks can only be removed while eating and drinking. The passenger claims that the flight attendants were without masks for 40 minutes, without eating or drinking. He took a picture and shared it on the social network.
Towards the end of the flight, safety rules and masks were announced in the cabin. Eisenmann then expressed his concerns to one of the flight attendants, whom he saw at the gate without a mask, claiming that he did it "quietly."
“He immediately became defensive and told his colleague that he had been drinking coffee,” Eisenmann said.
I got to experience my FIRST EVER talk w police at PSP on Sunday, thanks to members of THIS DFW-PSP # 2835 who lied to police saying I was unruly. One of these no maskers, perhaps, after I quietly said they offended me. @AmericanAir pic.twitter.com/W68ETj9yCp

Naughty Passenger Messages
When the plane landed, Eisenman was met by the police. He claims that he was taken to a “tiny, unventilated room” and interrogated after police received reports of a “naughty passenger” on board the plane. Eisenmann claims that security protocols were not followed during the interrogation, as he was spoken to “in close contact” in an unventilated room.

American Airlines offered its side of the story, claiming that the police were called simply as a precaution after a report of "erratic behavior on the part of a passenger." The airline also says Eisenmann was not officially detained by police.
An airline spokesperson said, “American requires all crew members and customers to adhere to a face mask policy throughout travel, including all areas at the airport and on board. Our team is investigating this incident and will take all necessary measures. "
Other incidents on board American Airlines flights
Just a few weeks ago, American Airlines was involved in yet another high-profile passenger incident. A flight from Dallas to Miami was delayed three hours after a passenger hid under a television console in first class. When the police were called on board to pick him up, another passenger became violent and was subsequently taken off the plane.
