A passenger on a Moscow-New York flight beat up a flight attendant

A 38-year-old business class passenger on board an aircraft flying Moscow - New York hit a flight attendant in the face, used obscene language, did not respond to comments and created a real threat to the safety of the flight and the lives of passengers, the website says Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The stewardess went to the police. The passenger did not fly to America. Upon returning to Russia, Aviadeboshir was detained by traffic police officers and a criminal case under articles "hooliganism" and "beating" was opened.

In December last year, Vladimir Putin signed a package of laws that allows air carriers not to sell tickets to blacklisted passengers for hooliganism on board the aircraft, writes NTV. The ban on flights for hooligans will be valid for one year and will not apply to cases where the violator returns to or is deported to the Russian Federation, when he flies to receive medical treatment, accompanies a disabled person or goes to the funeral of a family member, and also when it’s impossible to get to the desired settlement transport.
