An American Airlines passenger jumped out of an airplane onto the runway.

A passenger on an American Airlines flight jumped onto the runway after landing at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The incident occurred on board the flight number 1346, en route from Minneapolis (Minnesota) to Phoenix (Arizona), writes Lenta.ru with reference to Fox News.

According to police, the 25-year-old man "behaved strangely" during the flight. In particular, he touched the faces of other passengers and sprayed an unknown liquid from a spray bottle on them. According to the witness, the man also cursed and beat people.

The flight attendants transferred the passenger who violated the rules of the flight to the front of the plane so that he would come out first.

“As soon as the plane landed, the passenger opened the service door from the other side and jumped off the plane,” the airline’s message channel said.

Airport staff stopped a man, he was detained by the police. He was later taken to a local hospital for injuries.

It is noted that the incident did not affect the work of the airport. There were no casualties among the passengers.
