American Airlines passenger stole over $10 in cash and credit cards from two women during flight

An American Airlines passenger flying from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Miami, Florida, was arrested for stealing more than $10 in cash and two credit cards from two women who were on the same plane. The edition told in more detail New York Post.

Diego Sebastian Radio, according to federal court documents, robbed two women during a flight while the plane was over international waters.

During the flight, crew members saw Radio walking up and down the aisles of the aircraft and sitting out of place next to one of the victims.

The flight attendant said she saw the Radio with what appeared to be a woman's purse and asked one of the victims to see if she was missing anything.

The passenger realized that she was missing $10 and 022 Argentine pesos, which is approximately $13.

The passenger sitting behind the woman heard the conversation and also examined her things. She discovered that about $710 and 520 Argentine pesos were missing from her.

The crew notified Customs and Border Patrol, who sent officers to the boarding gate at Miami International Airport. The affidavit states that during a search of Radio's carry-on luggage, money was found in the amount that was missing from the victims.

In addition, during a search, two credit cards were found in his jacket pocket, both belonging to one of the victims.

In interrogation after his arrest, he confessed to stealing money and cards. He faces federal charges of theft.
