The guy after the party laid out $ 1600 for a trip to Uber
After a party near the campus of the University of West Virginia, a young man Kenny Bachman ordered Uber, but did not go where he was supposed to spend the night that night, but to his home, which is 300 miles away in Gloucester, New Jersey, writes NJ.com.
The guy got home safe and sound, but eventually he had to pay $ 1600 for the trip.
“I just woke up. And I thought: Why am I in a car next to some unfamiliar dude?,” Bachman said.
He noted that he woke up 2 after an hour's trip and could not ask the driver to stop, as they had gone far enough.
Note that the base rate Uber is $ 3,94. The booking fee is $ 2,35, the distance is $ 696,95 and the travel time is $ 115. Bachmann must also pay the fine, because the driver, to whom he put 5 stars, did not receive a cash payment.
