The couple broke into an expensive mansion in Florida to get married there: the owner was not warned
Nathan Finkel was on the grounds of his luxurious South Florida mansion when strangers approached his gate and demanded to go inside to get ready for the wedding. But he did not know about any wedding. How this happened, the publication told The Washington Post.
“People are trespassing on my property,” Finkel told the 911 dispatcher. “They say they are having a wedding here and this is a message from God.” I do not know what's going on".
The bride and groom were found near the house.
Courtney Wilson invited guests to celebrate his union with Shenita Jones at "their dream home and estate," according to their wedding website. The problem was that they didn't own the mansion.
This house is Finkel's property. It has nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a movie theater, a grand ballroom and a bowling alley. The grounds include lush greenery, ponds, gardens, a tennis court and a swimming pool. Finkel put the property up for sale two years ago, valuing it at more than $5,6 million.
Wilson inspected the house several months ago. “He presented himself as a potential buyer,” Mayor Steve Breitkreutz said.

But Wilson wasn't bidding on the house. Instead, he approached Finkel with another proposal - to rent the place for a wedding.
“The owner turned me down,” Breitkreutz said. “He thought that was the end of it.”
Wilson apparently thought differently, because God told him that he should get married in Finkel's house. The wedding promised a glamorous event in honor of the "royal couple," as they called themselves on the wedding website.
The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 15:30 p.m. with a red carpet happy hour and continue with the reception, which was to wrap up by 02:30 a.m. Wilson and Jones, who met in high school, invited guests back to the mansion the next day for brunch.
But the wedding day did not go as planned by the bride and groom.

“This guy thought the house was empty and had no idea Nathan was living on the property in another building,” said City Attorney Keith Poliakoff. “This guy had no idea he lived there.” You know the shock on his face when he appeared at the gate and the owner was at home.”
Confused, Finkel called the local police when he learned that strangers were trying to use his house as a wedding venue.
“They keep following me, calling me,” Finkel told the 911 operator. “I just want this to stop.”
Soon two police officers arrived at Finkel's house and told Wilson and his fiancée to leave.
After that, rumors spread around the city that law enforcement officers had closed the wedding. According to the mayor, when the real story surfaced, locals mostly found it amusing.
“It was an unusual day,” he concluded.
