A couple from California gave all their belongings to firefighters who lost homes in the fire

The couple from Gilroy (California), who is moving to North Carolina, decided not to take most of their property with them by donating it to the firefighters who lost their homes in the Campfire fire.

Kim Ringizen and his wife Annette packed all of their household items in a truck and handed them over to help dozens of needy families. Fox News.

“We have not lost any items of sentimental value to us. We didn't lose everything from sudden fire. So I think it's good if we can donate everything we have. We'll start over. After all, they also start all over again,” said Kim.

Kim, a combat veteran with 15 years of search and rescue experience, saw first-hand the devastating aftermath of the Paradise fire.

“I searched about 100 houses in Paradise... it was unimaginable. We had to reconsider our previous post-fire search methods to do what we needed to do there,” he said.

Along with household items, the couple donated handmade toys that Annette made.

“My husband spent many days participating in the recovery efforts, meeting many people who suffered and lost everything. There is not much I can do, but I have decided to donate all the dolls, toys and knitted items that were in my store to the families who were left with nothing,” she wrote on her Instagram.
