The Lower House of Congress approved the charge of incitement of insurrection. The resolution said Trump's actions met the constitutional language of "high crimes and misdemeanors" for which a president can be impeached. The resolution was supported by 231 congressmen (221 Democrat and 10 Republicans).

Impeachment in the House is not enough to remove Trump from power. US President Donald Trump returns to Twitter after 12 hours of blocking his account and posted a video in which he severely condemned the people who broke into the Capitol, and also for the first time admitted his defeat in the elections. But later Trump's microblog account was blocked forever.
