The US Citizenship and Immigration Services 5 of October 2016 of the year increased to two years the validity of work permits for people waiting for asylum in the United States whose applications for work permits are pending.
Candidates with a deferred asylum application may file I-765 Form, Work Permit Application by category (s) (8). This change applies to all (c) (8) that are pending as of 5 October 2016, and all such applications filed before or after 5 October 2016.
