A Delta passenger shared a shocking video that shows the crash of a part of an aircraft engine before it made an emergency landing.
Flight 1425 Delta near 12: 48 left Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Baltimore. About an hour after the flight, the passengers heard a loud hum, and then smoke spread through the cabin.
“The plane began to descend a little and it became hot. I wanted to be the first one to jump,” said passenger Avery Porch.

The video posted on Twitter shows how the separated part of the engine continues to rattle, while orange light is visible in its center.

The aircraft made an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International in North Carolina near 14: 27, according to an ABC News report.
All 148 passengers on board were safe.

Delta provided passengers with $30 worth of meal vouchers while they waited to transfer to alternative flights. The airline later said it had replaced the engine and the plane would resume service on Wednesday morning.
Delta Air Lines confirmed that the flight had landed without incident, and apologized to the passengers.
“The flight crew of Delta Flight 1425 from Atlanta to Baltimore decided to divert to Raleigh, North Carolina, after an issue with one of the plane's engines,” the airline wrote. — The plane landed without incident and passengers were transferred to alternative flights. We apologize for the inconvenience."
