American businessman Mark Bayada, the founder of the medical company Bayada Home Health Care, presented $ 20 million to employees, writes Rtvi With reference to the newspaper Courier-Post from New Jersey.
According to the newspaper, the new employees got $ 50, and the most deserved got "tens of thousands of dollars." Awards were received by employees in 22 states. Bayad announced his decision at a special meeting, the participants of which greeted his words with applause. Some employees began to cuddle, and others had tears in their eyes, eyewitnesses told.
Cash gifts have become part of Bayady's plan to turn the company into a non-profit structure since the beginning of 2019. Then it can not be sold and, in the opinion of the businessman, the new status will help to preserve the vision and values of the organization "for many years." The company calls the transition to a non-commercial model "natural."
Bayada Home Health Care has existed since 1975. The main goal of the company is to help people get the necessary help at home. Now Bayada employs more than 22 thousand people.
