Belarusians were warned about “precipitates in the form of rabies cutlets”
Since June, in Belarus, bait for wild animals with a vaccine for the prevention of rabies has been dropped from aircraft.
Lures with vaccine are scattered on the territory of Belarus along the border with the Latvian and Lithuanian Republics, with the exception of settlements and reservoirs.
The bait with a vaccine is a briquette of gray or dark brown color weighing up to 30 grams. Made from components of the feed, edible for carnivores, with a specific smell. In a bait the capsule with a vaccine is hidden. Fox eats briquette - and thus vaccinated.
Aircraft with briquettes on board fly at an altitude of 150-200 meters with a speed of 150-180 km / h. The bait with the vaccine is scattered in the amount of 25 pieces per 1 square kilometer.
