Experiences and Personal Stories: Podcast Launches in New York to Help Immigrants Understand American Life

America ... the land of dreams of millions of people. But finding yourself in a new state is even more difficult than deciding to fly over the ocean in the hope of a better life. Regardless of whether you have already found your way in America, or are just starting to find yourself, you will find useful advice and experience from those who have already overcome the obstacles that you have yet to face. These are the people who created podcast Art Area.

They came to America decades ago from different parts of the former Soviet Union. In the past, they were united by their country of residence, language, culture and constant “temporary” difficulties. The reasons for leaving were different, but the reason was the same: the desire to live differently. Nobody was waiting for them in the USA, but America gave them shelter and wished them good luck.

And they did it. Now they can not only ask a question in English, but also understand the American's answer, they read, write, and most importantly joke in English, while keeping the language of their homeland in their hearts.

“They” are four incredibly talented and multifaceted New Yorkers: aa member of the Nikitskiye Vorota theater, which is now working in the fashion industry; a professional actor and director who has staged performances in various theaters in Russia, and now donates his knowledge and creativity to students and spectators in America; a cameraman and director who managed to find application for his talents on American soil and successfully collaborates with various television companies; former aeronautical engineer, software analyst, and now a public relations specialist at the largest medical insurance company in New York. These people created podcast Art Areato give the floor to deep personalities - extraordinary, creative, seekers, those who have something to share.

creators podcast Art Area want to help new immigrants settle in the United States, as well as unite like-minded people on both sides of the ocean, give them the opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas within a single platform.

The goal of the Art Area podcast is to become a connecting link between people striving for development and creativity; help them find themselves in a new country or give them the opportunity to share their experience with those who need advice about life in the USA.

This podcast - about hope, kindness and creativity, but without politics. The authors hope that communication with the heroes of Art Area will help you better understand the realities of American life.
