Survey: college is not worth the money paid
Only 38 percent of people who graduated from college, starting with 2006, are confident that their education is worth the money they paid. This is stated in a recent Gallup Purdue study.
During the study, more than thirty thousand graduates of American colleges across the country were interviewed. Of these, eight percent strongly disagree that their education is worth it. Difficult to answer 53 percent.
Most likely, the answer was influenced by the relationship with a mentor or professor while studying. In cases where teachers cared for their students and encouraged them to continue to pursue their goal, respondents felt that their education was worth the money paid.
For those who are dissatisfied with their education, the debt for it, most likely, is the main factor. On average, 2015 graduates of the year for education gave or should give 35 thousands of dollars.
People are probably frustrated by the failure of the idea that a college will help them make more money in the future.
