The Russian climbed onto the Eiffel Tower and hung 6 hours on it: what did he want
The man who 20 May climbed on the Eiffel Tower, turned out to be a citizen of Russia, who sought asylum in France, writeem Meduza.
The name of the man is not called yet. According to journalists, he allegedly had suicidal tendencies.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon. After 15: 30 local time, a man who was on the second floor of the tower, climbed up and got to the top, third platform, which is located at a height of 276 meters. He spent more than six hours on the structure and went downstairs after negotiations with the rescuers who had reached him. Now he is in custody.
Because of the incident, 2500 people were evacuated from the tower. Administration of attractions intends to file a complaint to the authorities because of what happened.

A similar incident occurred at the Eiffel Tower in October 2017. And in 2015, Briton James Kingston climbed the building without ropes and without permission, dodging surveillance cameras.
