About 900 thousands of Ukrainians are asking for refugee status abroad

The United Nations Office for Refugees reports that currently 900 thousands of 300 citizens of this country are outside Ukraine. All of them are asking for refugee status in the states in which they are located.

764 thousand 500 citizens of Ukraine now live on the territory of Russia. Belarus is asking for refugee status 81 Thousands of 200 Ukrainians. Such data are provided by the UN, referring to information from government sources in these countries.

As for the EU countries, most of all refugees from Ukraine to Germany. They have applied for registration of the corresponding status of 4 thousands of 603 people. About 3, thousands of Ukrainians want refugee status in Poland and Italy.

The UN argues that it is not only about those people who left the zone of military conflict in the east of Ukraine. Refugees from different areas, including from the Crimea, are leaving their country.
