The fact that Hanukkah has become such a popular holiday for our generations shows that it touched the deep foundations of our existence.

Since the beginning of the 19th century, Hellenization gradually spread among the Ashkenazi Jews. The terrible WWII survived mainly Ashkenazi three countries: Palestine, the USSR and the United States. Miracles began to happen to them, designed to save them from Hellenization.
