Obama invites presidential candidates to play The Hunger Games
US President Barack Obama, commenting on the number of candidates from the Republican Party in the future presidential elections, jokingly suggested that they play “The Hunger Games”.
This is a series of best-selling books by American writer Susan Collins, in which several popular films were shot in Hollywood. In the story we are talking about a cruel entertainment show, whose members must kill each other until someone is left alone.
“We have healthy competition in the Democratic Party. But I've lost count of how many Republicans are running for office. There are enough of them to stage the Hunger Games,” said the US President, speaking at the University of Wisconsin.
According to the latest data, the Republican Party claims the 15 people for the presidency, including billionaire Donald Trump and the brother of former US President Jeb Bush. Five people ran for the Democratic Party, including former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
