The US learned about espionage through Kaspersky from the Israeli services that hacked it

Israeli security services hacked into the Kaspersky Lab anti-virus network and warned the United States that the company was monitoring users, writes Rtvi.

The invasion in question happened in 2014 year. Then the Israeli security services broke into the corporate system of "Kaspersky" and began to monitor the activities of the company. In the very "Kaspersky" learned about it in 2015 year. In June of the same year, the company published a detailed report, which stated the possible involvement of Israeli hackers in cracking.

According to NYT, Israeli hackers provided the US intelligence agencies with "convincing evidence of the Kremlin campaign in the form of screenshots and documents." These data became the reason for the refusal of the US government from the products of Kaspersky Lab.

To what extent the founder Evgeny Kaspersky of the company participated in the surveillance of US departments, is not specified. According to the newspaper, there is a possibility that Russian hackers used antivirus products without the knowledge of Kaspersky’s employees and management.

In mid-July, it became known that the administration of the President of the United States removed the software produced by Kaspersky from two lists of approved software suppliers for government agencies. Two weeks later Reuters wrote that the US Congress Committee on Science, Space and Technology began an investigation against a Russian company. Kaspersky Lab was suspected of “preparing vile actions against the US” and cyber espionage.

September 13 US Government banned federal agencies to use Kaspersky products. The company's founder was called to testify to the US Congress. Kaspersky himself denies all accusations against him and the address of his company. He said he was ready to come to a meeting in Congress if he was given an American visa in time.
