Ivanka Trump can't rent out his New York apartment. A PHOTO
The apartment of the daughter of US President Ivanka Trump in Manhattan for almost a year as exposed for rent, but New Yorkers are in no hurry to rent this room.
During the period of stay in the market, the originally requested rent in the amount of 15 000 dollars per month decreased several times, and on 29 September 2017 of the year is 10 450 dollars, writes Huffington Post.
Trump bought this two-story apartment with an area of 5 494 square feet (510 sq. M) in 2004 for 1,5 million dollars. Agents put it up for rent in October 2016. In the winter of 2017, they tried to sell housing for $ 4,1 million, but then they returned to the rental option.
Real estate experts say that the reason why New Yorkers refused to rent this apartment was not in the name of Trump (housing is located in the building Trump Tower), but the fact that the rental market in this part of New York is oversupplied.
In addition, the cost of monthly rent, even after the next reduction, is too high. Similar apartments in Manhattan rent for $10 per month, but Ivanka wants to get $123 per month from the apartment.
In 2017, Trump's buildings in Chicago and New York had difficulty finding tenants and buyers.
