New housing lottery in New York: the best deals of the week

The New York City Housing Authority regularly conducts lottery draw rights available apartments in different areas of the city.

149 apartments in a new building in the Bronx

The building is located at 4519 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, Far Rockaway, Queens. There are 113 apartments in the lottery - from a studio for one person for $331 per month to a three-bedroom apartment for 6 people for $1910.

To be eligible for the lottery, applicants must have an annual income between $13 and $303 for a single studio applicant; from $21 to $930 for a family of three planning to rent an inexpensive two-bedroom apartment; from $19 - $920 for a family of six who wants to rent the most expensive three-bedroom apartment.

To be eligible to participate in the lottery, the annual income of applicants must be from $ 72 000 to $ 95 030 for one person who wants to rent a one-bedroom apartment; from $ 102 858 to $ 122 070 for a family of three, applying for a three-bedroom apartment; from $ 102 858 to $ 157 300 for a family of six who want to rent the same apartment.

To be eligible to participate in the lottery, the annual income of applicants must be from $ 59 966 to $ 95 030 for one person applying for one-bedroom apartments; from $ 71 966 to $ 108 550 for a family of two people or $ 71 966 to $ 146 510 for a family of five people who want to rent an apartment with two bedrooms.

To register with NYC Housing Connect, you must provide a valid email address and basic contact information. You can update this information at any time. Only one account per household is allowed.

Fill in your household information

You will be asked to provide details of employment and income (for you and all household members). Once you have started the application process, you can save the application and return to it at any time. To apply, you must fill in all required fields.

For one residential object you can submit no more than one application. The application must be submitted no later than the deadline. Track application history

You will be contacted in the event that your application will be randomly selected at the stage of the initial registration of the lease. Please note that due to the large number of applications it is impossible to contact each applicant for each project. You can view all the projects for which you have applied for in the Residential Objects List (Search tab). Here you can check whether the application has expired or has expired.

If you do not want to apply online, you can submit it in paper form. An application form can be mailed to you. Go to the ad for the project you are interested in on the Search page. There you will learn how to get an application form by mail and where to send the completed form.
