7 – 8 PM

Art and sunshine in LACMA

Do not miss: Thai-Burmese paneng curry from Jenbamrung with pieces of beef in pea broth, served along with fried roti. However, in this menu, you can safely order almost everything.

What else to do nearby: If we talk about snacks, then the French-Mexican mashup Ludo Lefebre, Trois familia, is next door, although you have to go there early or postpone his visit the next day: the restaurant is open only for lunch, from 9 to 14 hours (by the way, you should definitely spend money on nutel beer and Three Milk cake). Yuca's, a tiny taco cafe in the parking lot on Hillhurst Avenue in nearby Los Felice, is a family favorite and an example of authenticity.

11 pm - 1 am

Prepati near East Side

Although this establishment opened only at the beginning of the year, The friend already become a highlight of the area. Its interior looks like a very nice hybrid of “Peach Kernel” from “Beverly Hills 90210” and that pretentious confectionery owned by Ralph Lauren’s daughter, and cocktails are quite affordable (at least for Los Angeles, and probably not, if you are from some normal place) - about 10 dollars. When we went there last time, the place became very crowded in 11 evenings, and we had to hang in the toilet line for about two months. So if you are a pee fan, perhaps you should go there early.

Then stop at Zebulon. This recently restarted establishment used to be located in Brooklyn, where it was famous for set off a career some serious bumps. With the reservation here everything is consistently excellent, and this is one of the few places on the East Side where you can drink without being surrounded by unbearable people.

Finish in Smog cutter. Payment is accepted only in cash, aggressively insist on at least two drinks, toilets like from Silent Hill, and the staff behind the bar is perhaps the roughest in Los Angeles (and maybe in the world), but this establishment somehow manages to be perhaps the most interesting bar in the city.

1 – 4 nights

Dancing and dancing again in LOS GLOBOS

In the heart of Silver Lake, on Sunset Boulevard, is this zachuhannaya lair (originally - the 1930's American Legion), one of the oldest nightclubs in Los Angeles. He also became (according to rumors) one of the first open gay clubs in the city, in which they had a stormy get-together, which ensured his cult status in the legends about the nightlife of Los Angeles. Of course, here you can often meet by chance with Kiefer Sutherland, who, as you know, tore off his T-shirt on the local dance floor late at night. But here, again, it is often possible to meet by chance ... well, in principle, with anyone. The contingent of visitors here is the most eclectic.

What else to do nearby: On those nights when Los globos closes at 2 hours (from Monday to Wednesday), people flock to Bamboo housea cozy Thai restaurant, open until 4 in the morning and five minutes away Lyft from there, to chrysanthemum tea and egg rolls.

4: 30 – 6 AM

Holiday and breakfast in THE PANTRY

Go to the city center for a fatty meal in Original Pantry Cafe, the most popular place for stress jams in Los Angeles, open all night, from 1924 onwards. Do not worry: the queue at the door may seem depressingly long, but it moves very quickly, and it’s worth the wait. This is partly a fascination for tourists, and the food there is not the best, but the portions are more than generous: mountains of fluffy pancakes, ham pieces hanging from plates, and scrambled eggs floating in oil with heat. Croutons are a miracle. Milkshakes - already in the frost. Coffee is not necessarily strong, but its cheapness is legendary. And by this time you could well be useful that bottomless mug.

Yes, in Los Angeles there is a subway. And yes, as of 2016, this metro runs from LA Downtown to the beach in Santa Monica. And go there for a long time, so you can sleep a little before you go out on the Santa Monica pier, in order to lie on the beach in the characteristic silence of this time of day and the ghostly shine of the illuminated observation wheel.

Pacific Park, the amusement park on the dock, opens only on 11 in the morning, which means that you have enough time to relax before teens and tourists run into it. Sit on the sand and enjoy it all: splashing ocean, wandering seagulls and hordes of roller skaters sweeping past with loud songs. God knows, you've already drunk enough with the rest - you just have to take a dose of the refreshing Pacific Ocean.
