Coronavirus in the USA: for the first time in history an emergency regime introduced throughout the country

US President Donald Trump on Saturday, April 11, announced a declaration of a “major disaster” in the United States in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. “While Wyoming is not yet facing as dire a situation as some other states, this declaration will help us prepare and mobilize resources when we need them,” Gordon explained.

Simplify funding and coordination

The White House specified that the emergency regime allows at the federal and local levels, as well as in relation to a number of organizations, to simplify access to state financing. In addition, it facilitates coordination between the state and the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as well as the US Army Corps of Engineers.
