Northern California Recorded First Case of Unknown Origin Coronavirus

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Wednesday, February 27, that the first case of coronavirus of unknown origin was confirmed in Northern California. Writes about this Fox News.

“This is a confirmed case. There is one in Northern California,” said CDC spokesman Scott Pauley.

The number of people infected in the United States has reached 60, including people who have been evacuated to the United States. The CDC said that a person from Northern California contracted the virus without traveling outside the United States and not coming into close contact with other infected people.

The news came when fear of the virus continues to spread throughout the world, prompting governments to take extreme measures.

US President Donald Trump said a vaccine against coronavirus is already being developed. He announced that he was making Vice President Mike Pence responsible for the coronavirus task force.

According to the latest data, on February 27, 810 people died from coronavirus worldwide and 82 people became ill.
