In Moscow, 24 people were hospitalized due to coronavirus

Six relatives and five acquaintances of a Russian returning from Italy, from whom a coronavirus was found, were taken to hospitals. Also hospitalized 13 passengers flying his flight. The patient himself has a mild form of the disease, writes RBC.

After detecting the coronavirus from a Muscovite who arrived from Italy, 24 people were hospitalized, 85 were sent for quarantine. This was reported on the website of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, a circle of contacts of the patient was established, six relatives and five acquaintances of the patient were sent to the hospital. Also 13 passengers of the flight were hospitalized.

In addition, said Sobyanin, all passengers of international flights at airports are measured temperature. If a person has an elevated temperature, they invite him for a physical examination, take tests, and then they are hospitalized or left under supervision at home.

The mayor also noted that medical posts continue to operate at Moscow airports. Passengers arriving from China, Iran, and South Korea are issued isolation orders, they are tested, and contact information taken from them. Arrivals from Italy are given notifications recommending compliance with the isolation regime at home.

Earlier on March 2, it became known that a coronavirus was confirmed in a Russian who returned from Italy. It was found that he fell ill on February 21, while on vacation in this country, he himself went to the hospital on February 27 with complaints about SARS.

According to the latest data from the Chinese authorities, more than 80 thousand cases of coronavirus infection, which began to spread in December in Wuhan, were detected in the country.
