New US Transportation Secretary Danced Naked on Camera: Old Video Resurfaces After His Appointment

In a video from almost 30 years ago, the new transport minister performs a revealing dance in the style of the male striptease group Chippendale. The video was filmed while the future politician was participating in a reality show, writes Daily Mail.

The show begins with Duffy, wearing swimming trunks, glasses and socks, seductively gyrating her bottom in front of the windows of the building opposite, performing an erotic dance on the windowsill, while the other participants of the MTV show The Real World: Boston burst into laughter.

A moment later, the future cabinet minister, playfully covering the biblical site with a towel, drops his trunks. In his touching glasses and socks, young Duffy, now 53, looks very cute.

In a 1997 video, someone narrates the dance with the sarcastic comment: "Another juicy secret from 'The Real World' is that Shawn isn't a lumberjack, he's a Chippendale dancer." (Duffy won three lumberjack championships. — Approx. Ed.)

The camera then cuts to contestant Montana McGlynn lying in bed, playing with the neckline of her shirt.

"Sean wanted to see the mountains of Montana, but she wasn't ready to see the peaks," the voiceover jokes.

Over the course of 23 episodes, one reality show contestant was fired for drunkenness, and several others were reprimanded for arguing in front of their children.

Duffy, who was in his early twenties when the show aired, was introduced as an ambitious conservative lawyer who competes in lumberjack competitions.

However, he soon became known as the classic "jock guy" who, according to his reality show co-stars, "loved to party" and his time on the show was marked by a series of flirtations, wild parties and some truly outrageous behavior.

One of the most infamous storylines involved his obsession with Genesis Moss, a contestant who identified herself as a lesbian. Despite her apparent indifference, Duffy persistently sought Moss's attentions by making overt innuendos and even asking her to "touch my noodle."

In one episode, he skipped a meeting with at-risk children he was supposed to be mentoring in favor of a date with a "local girl."

His history with reality TV is no secret, but it may come as a surprise to modern audiences given that he is now leading efforts to ensure U.S. aviation safety following the Reagan airport disaster on January 29.

The mid-air collision between an American Eagle passenger jet and a Blackhawk military helicopter occurred just a day after Duffy was sworn in.

In the spotlight, he echoed President Trump's suspicions that the Biden administration's obsession with DEI — diversity, equity and inclusion — played a role in the deaths of 67 people.

"They were focused on changing the name from 'cockpit' to 'flight deck' or 'notice to airmen' to 'notice to air mission,'" Duffy told CNN host Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."

"They focused on things that were not important for safety," the transport minister stressed.

Asked whether he believed DEI was the root cause of the crash of Flight 5342, Duffy replied, "Perhaps the more important question is whether I can guarantee the American people that this incredibly important part of the Department of Transportation will be staffed by the best and brightest, that they will be driven by safety, and that DEI will not matter."

Duffy, a father of nine whose wife Rachel Campos appeared on the reality show The Real World: San Francisco, won bipartisan support in the Senate, which voted 77-22 for him.

"Sean was a great and respected public servant," Trump said of the former Fox host when announcing his nomination as transportation secretary.

His appointment comes at a critical time for the agency, which is already grappling with a host of infrastructure challenges, including damage from Hurricanes Helen and Milton and deadly wildfires in California.

Sean Duffy became the second Fox News star to receive a cabinet post, the first being Pete Hegseth, who was named defense secretary.
