Unbroken by terrible diseases: the last video appeared on the network with Karachentsov

This is an episode of the “Sovetskaya Chronicle” program about the life of an artist after an accident, which deprived his body of important neurological functions, as well as how his fight against cancer is proceeding.

In the video, the wife of the actor Lyudmila Porgina gives an interview.

A seriously ill artist himself appears to the plot, to whom his wife read poetry. He greeted journalists with difficulty and expressed a desire to continue to fight cancer.

Karachentsov was diagnosed with left lung cancer back in 2017. According to the wife, at first radiation therapy gave good results; the tumor was reduced from 10 to 3 cm, but after the irradiation stopped, it began to grow again. The couple then underwent several chemotherapy treatments, and the tumor was eventually reduced to 2 cm.

Porgina admitted that this new blow in her life was very hard for her.

“I drove out in the car, opened the windows and screamed,” the woman said.

The actor and his wife have been fighting for the last 13 years for the life of Karachentsov. 28 February 2005, the artist hurried to say goodbye to his dying mother-in-law, and had an accident, after which he had violated the most important functions of the nervous system.

After the accident, Karachentsov was in a coma for 26 days. After he came out of the coma, her husband took up the salvation of her husband: with her help, he learned to walk again and even began to say a little what the doctors predicted could not happen at all. He even got a cameo in the film in 2014.

But 3 years later, an accident happened again in Karachentsov’s life - the artist was hospitalized with a concussion, but his wife decided not to give up.

In recent years, Karachentsov’s every day was scheduled minute by minute: mandatory exercise in the morning, after that - brain training: crossword puzzles, poetry, conversations and viewing old photographs with his wife.

According to Porgina, this regime produced results - the artist understood what they were talking about, remembered everything, could pronounce short phrases and walk independently.

Recall, October 26 Karachentsov died, not having lived one day before their 74 anniversary.
