Unknown opened fire in a bank in Ohio: there are dead

At least three people were killed and two others were injured as a result of shooting at a bank in the center of Cincinnati (Ohio).

The gunman opened fire on the loading dock and the lobby of the bank located on Fountain Square, near 9: 10 6 September, writes Fox News.

The offender was eventually killed by the police, information about him was not disclosed. None of the officers was injured, law enforcement officers said that in this area there was no longer any threat to people.

In the building where the headquarters of the Fifth Third Bank is located, there are also popular ice cream shops and desserts.

According to the mayor of the city, John Crenley, the consequences of the incident could have been much worse if not for the prompt response of the police.

One of the witnesses to the incident thought that the film was being shot in the building; he realized that this was not a dramatization only when he saw a bloody woman suffering from pain.

Another witness said that he had heard two shots, after which he saw fleeing people and joined the fleeing crowd.

Michael Richardson, who works in the building, said that he saw an arrow in the lobby.

The governor of Ohio, John Kasic, called the shooting "insane" and praised the prompt response of officials.

«Сегодня утром на улицах Цинциннати произошел безумный акт насилия с применением оружия. Я говорил с мэром и сообщил ему, что штат предоставит все необходимые средства местной полиции», — сказал Касич.
