Free entrance week to Chicago museums

Despite the fact that the summer holidays end, students of Chicago have enough time to visit the museums of the city.
Ten museums and a number of other cultural institutions offer free admission on certain days from August 28 to September 3 inclusive.
All high school students in Chicago are entitled to free admission if they have a student ID or a copy of it. In this case, the student can spend one adult. Some museums provide free entry for the entire student family.

- Monday, 29 Augusta
- Adler Planetarium - free for Chicago high school students + 1 adult;
- Chicago History Museum - free for Chicago high school students + family;
- Field Museum - Free for Chicago High School Students + Family;
- Shedd Aquarium - Free for Chicago High School students + 1 adult.
- Tuesday, 30 August
- Museum of Contemporary Art - free for Chicago high school students + family;
- Chicago History Museum - free for Chicago high school students + family;
- Shedd Aquarium - Free for Chicago High School students + 1 adult.
- Wednesday, 31 August
- Art Institute of Chicago - Free for Chicago high school students + 1 adult;
- Chicago History Museum - free for Chicago high school students + family;
- Museum of Science and Industry - Free for Chicago high school students + 1 adult.
- Thursday, 1 September
- Nature Museum - Free for Chicago High School Students + Family.
- Friday, 2 September
- National Museum of Mexican Art - free admission every day;
- Museum of Culture and Art of Puerto Rico - free admission every day;
- Lincoln Zoo - Free admission every day.
- Saturday, 3 September
- National Museum of Mexican Art - free admission every day.
- Lincoln Zoo - Free admission every day.
