Ukrainian intelligence officer Eduard Matyukha worked undercover in the uncontrolled territory of Donbass for more than five years and carried out an assignment from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. For some time he was even the “people’s mayor” of the mining town of Gorlovka, and later became the first secretary of the city committee of the “Communist Party” of the so-called “DPR” and had a lot of “contacts with colleagues from Russia. “I am an intelligence officer at the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” says Matyukha.

Skibitsky said that Matyukha spent five years without a family: his wife did not know anything about her husband’s mission and moved to Kiev, thinking that her husband was sincerely working for the separatists. In his story about how Matyukha feels in relation to his hometown - Gorlovka - he simply said: “Pain...”

The leadership of the separatists has not yet officially commented on Matyukha’s statements, but the deputy of the “People’s Council” of the “DPR” Vladislav Berdichevsky called the Ukrainian intelligence officer “a fool” and stated that “he was not allowed to know any state secrets.”

For Matyukha, the Ukrainian special services allegedly separately created an article on the Myrotvorets website, where he was called an “accomplice of militants.”

“It was a very good idea on my part to include me on this site, at my own initiative. It opened doors for me everywhere. And the mention that I was the people’s mayor made me a hero in all two “republics,” Matyukha said in the story.

He also stated that he “brought discord into the ranks of the militants” and allegedly “pitted” a former officer of the GRU of the Russian Federation and “Commandant of Gorlovka” Igor Bezler (Bes) and “Minister of Defense of the DPR” Igor Strelkov (Girkin). Because of this, the latter found himself without support in Slavyansk and was forced to leave the city.

While the terrorists were quarreling among themselves, this weakened them, and at this time Matyukha was making his “brilliant career” as an employee in the “DPR” - he became the first secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party and began to get acquainted with Moscow communists.

He found out the real role of the CPSU in the construction of the new Russian Empire. According to Matyukha, it was this party that became the platform for the Kremlin for all pro-Russian enclaves in different countries.

“I had the task of collecting 1100 signatures on the territory of Gorlovka for independence from Ukraine, the task was from the Russian Federation, the three of us sat down and signed everything. The lists were created in one simple way, as was done everywhere in the territory of the occupied Donbass - take 2-3 pens, insert them between the fingers of both hands, and write in different handwritings and colors,” says Matyukha.

In the same way, after distributing Russian passports and conducting a population census, a referendum on joining the "republics" to Russia can be held.

Matyukha said that such a referendum "is the goal of political pressure," but "and as option B, it is also being considered."

“If Ukraine does not make concessions to the Russian Federation over a certain period of time, they can implement Plan B,” the intelligence officer says.

“Last year, the restoration of the Little Russia project was also discussed. This was a plan for the military seizure of the Kharkov and Odessa regions, as well as the creation of a land corridor to the Crimean peninsula,” says Eduard.

“Eduard is the person who provided the necessary information about the real situation in the occupied territories,” Skibitsky confirmed his story. In particular, according to him, Matyukha supplied information about how the Kremlin controls the pro-Russian unrecognized regions of the DPR, LPR, Abkhazia, North Ossetia and Transnistria.

The responsible person through whom this is done, according to him, is State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Kazbek Taisaev. It was with his help that Matyukha formed the so-called “humanitarian convoys” through which cash was brought from Russia to the Donbass separatists.
