'Do not give up': in Los Angeles, a homeless man built a wooden house right on Hollywood Boulevard
A homeless man in Los Angeles, California built a small wooden caravan on busy Hollywood Boulevard. Writes about it Yahoo!.
The man, known by the nickname Q (Q), said that he built a motor home with the help of wood thrown from the construction site and the help of friends.
He was offered temporary accommodation in the city, but declined, stating that he preferred a makeshift home to a temporary stay at an orphanage.
“It kind of gives me strength,” the homeless man explained. “I don’t think I’m disturbing anyone here.”

The house stands on metal carts, and the entrance is decorated with potted plants. He said he was using a generator located outside the house for electricity.
“I feel good,” Q assured. - In my opinion, I am a kind of example for people who are in my situation. After all, just the fact that you live on the street is not a reason to give up.”
Police said there was nothing they could do unless someone was blocking a sidewalk, an active driveway, or a business.
"He doesn't bother anyone, and to be honest, I'm glad he's right here because I feel safer with him outside," said Rance Shaw of City Vibes Coffee. "He seems to know what he's doing and he's not here to hurt anyone."
