A kindergarten teacher in Florida was arrested: four children broke their legs there in a day

A kindergarten employee in Florida was arrested after four little boys in her care broke their legs on the same day.

According to the arrest report, the parents of four children from the age of 13 to 21 of the month reported that they sent the boys to daycare kindergarten completely healthy, and when they returned, they found sons in stress and with broken legs, writes New York Post.

It all happened at the Kids Discovery Learning Center in Valparaiso, Florida.

“When the parents came to pick them up in the afternoon, they found that the children were unable to stand or walk,” the report states. It turned out that all the children had broken legs.

The video from the surveillance camera showed how the new employee “quickly pulled” at least one of the boys' hands and threw the child feet forward into the stroller.

25-year-old Christina Maria Curtis was arrested on July 20 and charged with four cases of serious crime of negligence in relation to a child, which led to serious bodily harm. She was released on bail of 4000 dollars.

Curtis was also banned from being around children without her supervision.

“The defendant denied knowing how the children were injured. She said Curtis believed they might have been injured either at home or on the playground, the arrest report states. “She observed some of the injured children falling from the playground structures.”

The mother of one of the injured boys said that after her son returned from kindergarten, other signs of poor care were also observed, including “dirt in the hair”.

Kids Discovery Learning Center did not respond to requests for comment about the incident.
