I am a medical professional, working in the USA with older people. I see a lot of people every day. On March 14, 2020, I came to work: it seemed like a normal day. But no.
I finished work and came home. My asthma started to get worse and that’s how this nightmare began.

The doctor gave me medicine to stop my asthma attack. Then they took my temperature - it turned out to be almost 38. They began to treat me for flu symptoms. They did tests for the flu - but the results were negative. Then the doctors gave me a swab test for coronavirus. I was sent home, but in isolation until the test results came back.
On March 26, it turned out that I was positive. By this time I couldn’t breathe: it was painful. I was told to go to the hospital. My mom took me to the hospital where I was immediately separated from her and sent to the emergency room. I stayed there for a couple of hours while nurses and doctors fought for my life.
Then I was transferred to the surgical department, which was an isolation ward. I stayed there for 4 days. They gave me antibiotics and a cure for malaria. I think that saved me.

When the doctors thought that I began to feel better, I started coughing up bloody sputum. I was left for another night to observe. My mother did everything for me to eat and get better. She risked her life by bringing something to eat.
Most important: please stay home! Do not go out. Be healthy and listen to what they say. This virus is very scary, and I do not wish anyone to be as sick as I am.
