Named the top 10 airlines in the world: not a single American ranked
Skytrax, which tracks airline rankings, has compiled a list of success metrics for the world's top carriers, but no U.S. airlines made the top 10. The edition told in more detail CNBC.

Delta Airlines ranked 24th and received the title of the best airline in North America.
The list was compiled based on customer survey data from September 2021 to August 2022. More than 350 airlines were included in the final results.
Travelers who participated in the Skytrax survey were asked to rate airlines based on:
- customer service;
- comfort;
- purity.
#1 Airline of 2022 – Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways took first place on the Skytrax list.
The carrier's CEO Akbar Al Baker said in a press release that when Qatar Airways was created in 1993, it set itself the goal of always living up to the title of "best airline."
“To receive this award in the year we celebrate our 25th anniversary is even more gratifying and I want to sincerely thank all of our passengers who voted for us,” he said.
Since the awards began in 1999, Qatar Airways has won first place seven times. The airline won awards for Best Business Class, Best Business Class Seat and Best Business Class Restaurant Lounge, among others.

- Qatar Airways
- Singapore Airlines
- Emirates
- ANA All Nippon Airways
- Qantas Airways
- Japan Airlines
- Turkish Airlines
- Air France
- Korean Air
- Swiss International Air Lines
Singapore Airlines was ranked 2nd in the top 10 but received first place for the world's best crew and best aircraft first class. The Asian airline took second place in the ranking of the best airlines and the cleanliness of the cabin.
Emirates was in third place. The airline received the main prize for the best economy class.
