Named 20 best and worst states of America for children

Millions of children in the United States do not have a happy childhood and can not reach their full potential, this is stated in the new report of the international group “Save the Children”.

The report "The End of Childhood", published on Thursday, published a ranking of the best and worst places in the world where children's rights to health, protection and safety are realized. The ranking also has a breakdown by US states.

The organization compared in particular the following factors: malnutrition, teenage pregnancy, the dropout rate of high school students, the infant mortality rate and violence.

New Jersey ranked third in the ranking of the worst US states. In this state, only 10,3% of high school students graduated from the 2014-2015 school years, in Iowa this figure reached the level of 9,2%. Connecticut was on the sixth line (10,1 on 1000 mothers who gave birth between 15 and 19 years in 2015). New York ranked 11 line ranking.
