Russian pensioner asked Trump to find a grandson adopted in the USA

A pensioner from Yaroslavl, Irina Evdokimova, wrote a letter to American President Trump - out of desperation.

For years, she has been looking for her grandson, Sasha Sazonov, to make a will on him, and appeals to Russian officials and the consular services did not produce results.

“Dear US President Donald Trump. Irina Nikolaevna Evdokimova is writing to you from Russia. I am 81 years old, I live alone, I have no one. She buried her husband and son. And the only grandson lives in the USA with adoptive parents. ... Is he alive or not? Do a good deed, for God’s sake, I am his grandmother, I am looking for and waiting for him.”

Her grandson Sasha was born 28 December 1998 of the year. In childhood, he often came to visit his grandmother. However, later the relationship between the boy’s father, Yevdokimova’s son, and his common-law wife did not work out. The couple broke up, but the grandmother did not know that the grandson was in an orphanage.

“Neither me nor my son were notified. The boy's mother was deprived of parental rights, after which the boy was taken to an orphanage in the city of Yaroslavl. Now I don’t know either his new name or surname,” says grandmother Alexandra Sazonov.

Irina Nikolaevna has been looking for her grandson for ten years. During this time, she accumulated answers from a variety of Russian officials - “from the government, and from Zhirinovsky, and from our president.” In complete despair, she wrote to the American president. “Probably Trump is also a grandfather already, and suddenly this would happen to him. Probably, every person paid attention and did everything they could to help the person,” says Irina Evdokimova with hope.

Mikhail Savelyev, a lawyer who helps her, says that the adopted Alexander did not have anything written down in the “father” column. “In fact, the family lived, as is now fashionable, in an unregistered marriage. If the relationship had been registered, she would have been a legal grandmother, not just a biological one, according to the documents. And without her knowledge, perhaps such a situation would not have happened,” Savelyev explains.

Adoptive parents took the child to California. The guardianship authorities refuse to provide information about them, citing the secret of adoption. But the officials themselves, at Evdokimova’s request, made several inquiries in the United States, trying to inform the adoptive parents about the situation. However, the traces of the adoptive family were lost and there is no answer.

Now the grandson of Irina Nikolaevna is already 20 years old, whether he will decide to communicate with her grandmother. Evdokimova wants to leave her house to her grandson, but first you need to find Sasha. The lawyers translated the letter to Trump in English and sent it to the White House email box. The pensioner sent the paper version by regular mail.

Finding her grandson became the meaning of life for her. She lives alone: ​​her son, Sasha’s father, died five years ago, and before his death he asked his mother to give Sasha his watch - if she finds him. “He was sick, I told him: Seryozha, don’t worry, I’ll find Sanka anyway. He says you won't find it. And I say, you’ll see, I’ll turn everything over and find it,” recalls Irina Nikolaevna.

In memory of her grandson, her grandmother had only old photos and a box of sweets, which the boy somehow forgot about her.
