Found the perfect time: Trump may soon announce that he is running for president
Aides to the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, have decided that the third week of November is the perfect starting point for his 2024 presidential campaign if the Republicans do well in the November 8 midterm elections. This was reported CNN sources familiar with the matter.
Two sources said the Trump team had discussed Nov. 14 as one possible date for the announcement, which falls in the middle of US President Joe Biden's trip to Asia.
Trump is unlikely to announce that he is running for president earlier, so as not to overshadow the wedding of his daughter Tiffany on November 12 in Mar-a-Lago.
Those sources also warned that no date has yet been set and Trump could push it back if the election goes wrong.
While everyone around is talking about exactly where Trump should announce his decision to run for president, a source said that his team has not yet decided on the exact location and is currently considering a location near his home in Palm Beach ( Florida), where he set up his political headquarters after leaving Washington.
Trump has long viewed the period after the midterms and before Thanksgiving as an opportunity to launch his next political campaign.

He expects the Republican Party to make significant gains on Election Night and wants to capitalize on it, especially if his Senate picks win key elections in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia.
Trump plans to announce his decision to potential rivals in 2024. One of them, former Vice President Mike Pence, who will soon publish a book about his tenure, said recently that "there may be someone else I would prefer more" as the next Republican presidential nominee. This fuels rumors that he intends to challenge his former boss.
At the Iowa rally, Trump told the audience to "get ready" for his return and remarked that he would "very, very, very likely do it again," referring to running for president. It was his last attempt to gain Republican attention without directly announcing the campaign.

“I give him credit for not announcing this, for not getting in the way of the midterm candidates. I'm glad he didn't," former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway told reporters.
Trump is still under investigation for bringing classified government documents to Mar-a-Lago at the end of his term. He was recently subpoenaed by a House Select Committee to testify in connection with the January 6 attack on the US Capitol. In addition, Trump is facing an ongoing investigation by the Fulton County Attorney's Office over his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
Justice Department officials discussed whether Trump's candidacy would create the need for a special prosecutor to oversee two extensive federal investigations.
