Airbnb service, which offers short-term rental accommodation for tourists from all over the world, has grown greatly in recent times. However, in addition to convenience and benefits, renting accommodation through this resource is often accompanied by horrible, just Hollywood stories about the adventures of tenants or apartment owners.

Site New York Post collected the most terrible of them, analyzing about 4 500 thousands of comments of those who rented or rented a house using this service.

1. A London man rented out his apartment to teenagers from the United States who looked like a couple of cute girls. The next day at 2 a.m. he was awakened by an unexpected call from the tenants - they had been arrested and did not know who else to call. It turned out that “nice American girls” broke into the apartment on the floor below and turned everything upside down. The worst thing is that the girls' parents didn't care, and the Londoner had to solve this problem.

2. A tenant in California could not leave his room because of a broken lock. He called the owner of the apartment, he was unavailable. In the end, the drunken master servicing the house arrived and began to knock on the door. He did not know about the problem with the castle and arrived there to evict the landlord for non-payment. The master opened the door outside, went inside and let the door close behind him, being locked in an apartment with the tenant. To release the "prisoners", I had to call the police.

3. When negotiating about renting an apartment in Los Angeles, the landlord told the potential tenant that there was a cat in the house who mostly lives in the yard. Then it turned out that the cat lives in the apartment all the time, and they expected from the tenant that he would feed him, clean him up and allow him to sleep on the bed. Since the remaining apartments were either already rented or were too expensive, the tenant had to spend the weekend with a cat.

4. In one of the apartments, the tenants decided to organize a wedding, during which one of the guests copied the key to the front door and later robbed the apartment.

5. One of the most terrifying incidents occurred in Canada. About a hundred people took part in what the owner called a “drug orgy” - pillows were torn, paint was splattered on the walls of the apartment, the parquet floor was ruined by spilled alcohol, the toilets were filled with condoms.
