The man who committed the attack in central London on Wednesday was born in Britain and was known to British intelligence agencies, said Theresa May, the country's prime minister.

The police claim that the attacker most likely “acted alone, falling under the influence of international terrorism.”

The policeman who was attacked died from his wounds. Scotland Yard later named him. This is 48-year-old Keith Palmer; he served in the police for 15 years, and in the armed forces for more than 25 years.

The name of one more dead on Westminster Bridge, 43-year-old Aisha Freud, became known on Thursday. It is believed that she was following her two children to school when the attack occurred. Aisha taught Spanish at London College, which is on the other side of Westminster Bridge.

Spaniard by birth, she lived all her life in London. Aisha was married to a Portuguese native; they had two children.

The name of the third victim is not yet called, it is known that this is a man 50 years.

On Thursday, both houses of parliament began work with a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
